• 2010: Became the sixth bareback rider to earn four or more world championships by finishing second in the average at the Wrangler NFR and earning $115,099. Entered the WNFR fifth in the world standings, but ascended to the top by placing in seven of 10 rounds, including a win in Round 8 and a shared win in Round 9, and finishing second in the average to Justin McDaniel for total season earnings of $204,484. Those were the 20th and 21st NFR round wins of Mote's career, a record for his event. Top roughstock earner with $22,091 during the Fourth of July run, also known as Cowboy Christmas. Won the Sheridan WYO Rodeo; the Othello (Wash.) PRCA Rodeo and the Dodge Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo (Redmond, Ore.); co-champion at the Crooked River Roundup (Prineville, Ore.)
• 2009: Won the Wrangler NFR average title with 847 points on 10 head and set a Wrangler NFR record for his event with winnings of $139,880 on his way to winning his third world championship. He had at least a share of five round wins to break the NFR record for wins in a single year in his event. Mote's total earnings of $310,219 was a single-season record for bareback riding; had the highest earnings of any competitor during Cowboy Christmas with $29,926. Won the Fort Worth (Texas) Stock Show & Rodeo; the Greeley (Colo.) Independence Stampede; the Sikeston (Mo.) Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo; the West of the Pecos Rodeo (Pecos, Texas); the Southwestern International PRCA Rodeo (El Paso, Texas); the Dodge Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo (Redmond, Ore.); the Columbia River Circuit Finals all-around year-end title;  the Wild Rogue ProRodeo (Central Point, Ore.); the Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup (Great Falls, Mont.) and the Medicine Hat (Alberta) Stampede. • 2008: Won Rounds 2, 5, 7 and 9 at the Wrangler NFR, twice tying the NFR record with a 91.5-point ride on Classic Pro Rodeo's Big Tex in Round 5 and another 91.5 on Big Bend Rodeo's Spring Fling in Round 7. Finished third in the world standings with earnings of $205,592. Bobby was born with crooked legs and had to wear a splint at night and special shoes to help straighten them out … Hobbies include horse training, roping and  fishing … Uses visualization techniques to prepare for competition … Clint Corey, the 1991 world champion bareback rider, is Mote’s long-time mentor … Travels with Jason Havens, Ryan Gray and Steven Dent; they call their group "The Pride," as in a pride of lions … Staged a benefit at his 40-acre Culver, Ore., ranch to raise money for injured roper Mike Beers in 2007 ... Maintains his own website, www.bobbymote.com ...
