• 2016: (Partner Brad Culpepper) Finished 18th in the world standings with $58,682. Won the Mason ProRodeo Classic (Lakeland, Fla.), the Walker County Fair and Rodeo (Huntsville, Texas) and the Springville (Calif.) Sierra Rodeo with a 3.9.  Won Rodeo Killeen (Texas), with Clint Summers and the 101 Wild West Rodeo (Ponca City, Okla.) and the Rooftop Rodeo (Estes Park, Colo.). Co-champion at the Franklin (Tenn.) Rodeo with a 4.0, with Brad Culpepper. Set two arena records with partner Brad Culpepper – A 3.5-second run in the second round of the Southeastern Livestock Exposition (Montgomery, Ala.); and a 3.9 at the Springville (Calif.) Sierra Rodeo

6-2, 220 … Parents Manny and Ann Egusquiza, brother, Manny Jr., half-sister, Dannie Lynn … His grandpa, Manuel, dad, Manny, and brother, Manny Jr., all competed in team roping and calf roping and that’s how he got into rodeo … Started competing in seventh or eighth grade … Describes his roping style as “aggressive, maybe too aggressive; I need to slow down” … Favorite rodeo is the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) because it’s in the middle of the city, the stands are always packed and the prize money is good … Does not have a regular workout routine, but he eats healthy and practices often … Graduated from Sneads (Fla.) High School and attended Eastern Mississippi Community College for a semester in 2014 … His rodeo idols are his dad and brother … Favorite food is Panda Express … Favorite music is rap and country … Favorite video games are the NBA series … Favorite movie is “Lonesome Dove” … Likes to play cards and listen to music while traveling to rodeos … Enjoys fishing and watching the Golden State Warriors play basketball
