5-9, 155 … Wife, Chancey (married April 1, 2016); daughter, Remmy; father, Paul is a farmer and mother, Carla works for Pendleton Sanitary Services and also owns a Western tack store; sister, Kylee; Paul and Carla both team roped, father was a heeler and mother was a header; Kylee also rodeoed in high school and college, and continues to team rope; Garrett’s career got a boost when he used to go up and break in steers for Darrel Sewell (an NFR qualifier in steer wrestling in 1974 and ‘75) … Rogers grew up as a team roping heeler and competed primarily as a team roping heeler in the Columbia River Circuit before deciding to switch to being a header in 2014 … Played high school basketball in Helix, Ore. … When not competing in rodeo, hunts for elk and deer and loves to snowmobile … Favorite restaurant is In-N-Out Burger … Favorite sports teams are the Seattle Seahawks and Golden State Warriors, loves watching Steph Curry … Favorite music is country, artists like John Anderson and George Strait … Favorite movie is “8 Seconds”
