Co-champion in steer wrestling and won the all-around at the YMBL Championship Rodeo (Beaumont, Texas). Won the all-around at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo (Hermiston, Ore.). • 2013: Won the bull riding at the Rotary Classic Rodeo (Starkville, Miss.); the Salmon (Idaho) Stampede PRCA Rodeo and the Lincoln County Fair Rodeo (Afton, Wyo.); won the all-around and bull riding at the Black Diamond Legends Rodeo (Price, Utah). Earned $15,358 on his permit

5-9, 165 … Single … Father, Lynn, was a rodeo pickup man and mother, Valorie, was a timer; older brother, Wyatt, qualified for the Wrangler NFR as a steer wrestler in 2014 (Garrett hazed for him in rounds 6-10); younger brother, Payson, competes in junior rodeo … Grew up training horses and practiced with his brothers in the arena just outside the family house … Home-schooled all the way through high school … Enjoys playing golf … As a member of the Idaho Project Filter Team he has worked with area youth to encourage them to make good choices and stay off drugs and tobacco … Rodeo idol growing up was Ty Murray … Favorite movie is “The Longest Yard” with Adam Sandler
