Oldest brother, Robert, works in construction; other brother, Steven, is a 6-time Wrangler NFR bareback rider … His uncle, Bob Sailors – who was a PRCA bareback rider, bull rider and team roper – is who got both David and Steven involved in the sport. David started rodeoing when he was 7 years old … Favorite sports teams are Oregon State and the San Francisco 49ers … Favorite rodeo is Salinas … Rodeo idols are Clint Corey, Bobby Mote and his brother Steven … Hobbies include hunting, fishing, wakeboarding and anything outdoors … Wants to start a welding business when his rodeo career is over … Favorite movie is Lonesome Dove … Wrestled for 11 years, from second grade through high school, twice placing in the Oregon high school championships.
