Career Highlights
• 2018: (Partner Quinn Kessler) Made his Wrangler NFR debut in two events in tie-down roping and as a team roping header with partner Quinn Kesler. He placed in two rounds in the Wrangler NFR in tie-down roping, a best effort of split for second place in Round 3 with Jake Pratt and Sterling Smith. He finished second in the average with an 88.5-second time on 10 head. In team roping header standings, he finished 15th in the world standings with $113,520 and was sixth in the average with a 73.6-second time on eight head. He and Kesler placed in three rounds with a best effort of splitting third in Round 2 with Bubba Buckaloo and Chase Tryan. Won the all-around at the Red Bluff (Calif.) Round-Up, the Horse Heaven / Kennewick (Wash.) Round-Up, the Livermore (Calif.) Rodeo, the all-around at That Famous Preston (Idaho) Night Rodeo and the Ute Stampede (Nephi, Utah). Won the all-around at the Mandan (N.D.) Rodeo Days and tie-down roping at the Silver State Stampede (Elko, Nev.). Finished 14th in the all-around world standings with $78,241; 38th in tie-down roping with $40,935 and 35th as a team roping header with $37,306.
• 2016: Finished 14th in the all-around world standings with $81,497, 20th in tie-down roping with $57,480 and 47th in team roping with $26,417.  Won the tie-down roping at the World's Oldest Rodeo (Prescott, Ariz.), the Leduc (Alberta) Black Gold Rodeo, the Innisfail (Alberta) Pro Rodeo and the Sundre (Alberta) Pro Rodeo. 
Won the all-around at the RAM Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo (Heber City, Utah), the Farm-City Pro Rodeo (Hermiston, Ore.), The Famous Preston (Idaho) Night Rodeo and the Walla Walla (Wash.) Frontier Days. Won the all-around and tie-down roping at the Oakdale (Calif.) Saddle Club Rodeo. Won the all- around and team roping at the War Bonnet Roundup Rodeo (Idaho Falls, Idaho), with Cole Davison and the Bozeman (Mont.) Won the team roping at the Strathmore (Alberta) Stampede, with Jeremy Buhler and the Kinsmen Pro Rodeo (Brooks, Alberta), with Jeremy Buhler. 6-1, 185 … Wife, Chalis, married May 9, 2012 … daughters, Ruby and Iyla ... Parents, Chad and Shelly; younger brother, Kaden, two sisters, Jazlyn and Mykynli. Father owns an oilfield business, Delsco Northwest, with 48 employees. The family also owns an alfalfa farm, raises cattle and races horses in Utah as A&C Racing … Kaden competed with Rhen in team roping at the National High School Finals Rodeo. Both brothers also played baseball and football in high school … Rhen was a four-year starting quarterback for Union High School (Roosevelt, Utah), who was named second team all-state as a sophomore and first team both as a junior and senior. He led the state in passing yards (3,500) as a senior and was offered scholarships by Oklahoma State, University of Utah, Utah State, Weber State, Boise State, University of Colorado (Boulder) and Southern Utah University, where his father played quarterback and safety … Graduated from Union High in May 2008 … Roping style he tries to emulate is Clay O’Brien Cooper’s because “he does it smart; he doesn’t take stupid shots” … Rodeo idol is Trevor Brazile … Favorite movie is “Friday Night Lights”
