Won the all-around and saddle bronc riding at the Amicus Club PRCA Rodeo (Alexandria, La.). Finished 45th in the world standings with $18,228
• 2012: Won Round 10 and was the lone saddle bronc rider at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo to ride all 10 horses, winning the average title with a score of 798.5 points. Finished second in the world standings by $797 behind Jesse Wright with $226,090. Won the Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days; the 102nd Pendleton (Ore.) Round-Up; the Reno (Nev.) • 2011: Had one qualified ride at the Wrangler NFR before suffering a sprained elbow and broken shoulder that forced him to miss six rounds. Finished 10th in the world standings with $78,891. • 2010: Placed in seven of 10 rounds of the Wrangler NFR, including a win in Round 8 and a shared win in Round 7, to finish third in the average and move from 12th to third in the world standings with $159,050. Won Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days for the second time in his career; he sealed the victory with an arena record 91-point ride aboard Harry Vold Rodeo's Painted Valley. Won the Dodge City (Kan.) Round-Up, and set an arena record of 92 points aboard Frontier Rodeo's Medicine Woman en route to the victory. Won the Lewiston (Idaho) Round-Up with a 90-point ride on Sankey Rodeo's Soduku; the World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo (Payson, Ariz.); the Parker County Frontier Days ProRodeo (Weatherford, Texas); the Lawton (Okla.) Rodeo; the Big Spring (Texas) Cowboy Reunion & Rodeo; the Gladewater (Texas) Roundup Rodeo. Won the all-around title at the Leesville (La.) Lions Club Rodeo; co-champion at the Licking (Mo.) Finished the year as the runner-up to Billy Etbauer in the world standings with $176,832 and placed 12th in the Wrangler NFR average race, earning $52,556. Won average titles at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo (Denver); the Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days and the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.). 5-8, 160...Wife, Margie (married Oct. 2, 2004); daughter, Darbi; son, Wyatt...Nickname is "Hot Sauce" DeMoss. Got it when he was in college because he used to pour hot sauce on everything he ate in the cafeteria to make it taste better...Hobbies include hunting and fishing...Got interested in rodeo through his dad, Mike, a two-time National High School Finals bareback riding champion...Cody’s first competition was in 1986. He started out roping calves and then competed in team roping until he was a junior in high school, when he switched to saddle bronc riding. In 2007, he decided to start team roping more and is currently competing in saddle bronc riding and team roping as a heeler...His parents are Mike and Vicki; his father works as a road construction engineer. He has one brother, Heith, who is also a top saddle bronc rider and a member of the PRCA … A film company from Minneapolis followed the DeMoss brothers and Ty Atchison for the second half of 2010, hoping to create a reality/documentary TV series
