The Red Bluff (Calif.) Round-Up has attracted some of the biggest names in ProRodeo since 1946, as they compete for one of the biggest payouts of the year. But only the best make Red Bluff Round-Up’s record book. Bareback rider Royce Ford set the record of 89 points in 2004.

Tyler Bingham, of Honeyville, Utah, (above) had an 87-point ride on Bridwell Pro Rodeos’ 100x Helmet’s Boothill in the finals at the Clark County Fair & Rodeo in Logandale, Nev., April 15, to capture the average crown with 172 points on two head. It was the first rodeo in the PRCA’s new tour – the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour.

A new team roping partnership started off with a major win for Spencer Mitchell and Clay O’Brien Cooper. The duo placed in both rounds to win the average at the Oakdale (Calif.) Saddle Club Rodeo on April 14-15.

Steer wrestler Aaron Vosler left town with $5,074 after winning the three-head average in 12.5 seconds. The Cheyenne, Wyo., cowboy clocked a 3.5-second time in the finals to secure the average victory.

Since 1953 the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo has featured some of ProRodeo’s biggest stars as they duke it out for a piece of the historic rodeo’s prize money. From April 14-15, cowboys will have a chance to win big and possibly leave their mark in the Oakdale arena record book.

Heeler Cory Petska (left) and header Erich Rogers compete during Round 5 of the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. The duo split the round win and went on to win the heeler and header world championships. Rogers, who is now roping with Clint Summers, is going to be out of action indefinitely because of knee injury he suffered March 3 while steer wrestling at a non-PRCA event.

Saddle bronc rider Dan Mortensen’s (pictured above) held the Logandale record of 89 points since 2005, which helped him also set the two-head average record of 171 points.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Cody Tew and Matt Robertson don’t rodeo full time, but they make sure they get to their circuit rodeos in hopes of qualifying for the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo. The qualifiers from the Montana Circuit made their trip to the 2018 NCFR count in a big way, winning the opening round in 5.7 seconds. They took home $6,254 each Friday night.

Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s 579 Outa Sight suffered a fatal bout of colic April 4 at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Rodeo fans might recognize this horse from Kaycee Feild's winning, 87-point ride in Round 4 of the 2010 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
