Cowboys competed at 18 rodeos across North America worth a collective $927,275 from Sept. 3-10. With so much money up for grabs, 32 cowboys climbed within the Top 15. Bull rider Roscoe Jarboe had the biggest move in the Top 15 this week, from 15th to seventh.

Since 1953, the New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo in Albuquerque has attracted some of the biggest names in professional rodeo. Bareback rider Royce Ford qualified for the Wrangler NFR eight times (2003-09, 2011), and during that time he set three records at Albuquerque that still stand.

With one month left in the regular season, cowboys flock to Walla Walla (Wash.) Frontier Days as they race to the finish line. Tie-down roper E.J. Roberts set two Walla Walla records in 2012. First, his 7.1-second run is the fastest to date, which helped him also to set the two-head average record of 15.7 seconds.
