The RAM Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo is under way in Duncan, Okla., through Saturday, Oct. 21. Every year, many circuit cowboys compete for a shot at the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo, but only the best make repeat champion-level performances. Bareback rider Caine Riddle holds the Prairie Circuit record for most titles and shares the record for longest span between his first and last circuit title.

Since 1941, the Grand National Stock Show & Rodeo in San Francisco has played host to some of ProRodeo’s biggest names and most talented cowboys – but only the best made the arena record book. In a ride that’s unlikely to be topped, bull rider Don Gay set the arena record with a 97-point ride on RSC’s Oscar in 1977. Gay’s score is the third-highest in ProRodeo history, and it’s five points higher than any bull ride made throughout the 2017 season.

ProRodeo cowboys of all skill levels compete in the All American Series, but only the Top 30 qualify for the All American Finals, which kicked off Oct. 7 and end Oct. 14 in Waco, Texas. Many of ProRodeo’s iconic cowboys have set circuit finals rodeo records that could take decades to top. For instance, Mike Beers holds the record for most total year-end circuit titles with 30 – 12 for all-around, eight for team roping, two for tie-down roping and eight for steer roping in the Columbia River Circuit.
