For the Record: Lewiston

Since 1935, the Lewiston (Idaho) Roundup has brought together some of the biggest names in professional rodeo as they race to the finish line of the regular season.

Since the turn of the 21st century all of Lewiston’s records have been broken except for one. Tie-down roper Blair Burk has the oldest record at Lewiston with his 1999 time of 7.5 seconds. Burk has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 14 times (1995-2007, 2009) and won more than $2.5 million in prize money since joining the PRCA in 1993.

Cowboys have from Sept. 6-8 to top Burk’s record, and others, while competing for their share of the Lewiston prize money.
