For The Record: Logandale



Since 1988, the Clark County Fair & Rodeo in Logandale, Nev., has attracted some of the biggest names in ProRodeo but only the best make the arena record book. Cowboys looking to leave their mark in Logandale and leave with a big check will have their chance from April 11-15.

Logandale’s biggest payout was $257,332 in 2016.

Trevor Brazile holds the record for most money earned in all-around at Logandale with $10,643 in 2006. 

Bareback rider Matt Mosher has held the Logandale record since 2005 with his 90-point ride. That same year, Ryan Gray set the two-head average record with 171 points, which Steven Dent matched in 2009. 

Three steer wrestlers share the Logandale record of 3.4 seconds. Brad Larue and Jason Frost each set the record in 1998 and Kyle Callaway made the same time in 2012. The two-run average record of 7.3 seconds was set by Bob Barthle in 1998. Bray Armes set the three-run average record of 14.3 seconds in 2003. Joey Bell Jr. set the four-run average record of 16.6 seconds in 2006. 

Team ropers Charly Crawford and Tyler Magnus have held the Logandale record of 3.8 seconds since 2008. The two-run average record of 9.4 seconds was set by Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill in 2015. Thad Ward and Olin Pulham set the Logandale three-run average record of 16.8 seconds in 2016. Brazile and Rich Skelton set the four-run average record of 23.1 seconds in 2006. 

Mortensen Dan FOR WEBSaddle bronc rider Dan Mortensen (pictured at left and above) has held the Logandale record of 89 points since 2005, which helped him also set the two-head average record of 171 points. Jesse Bail matched Mortensen’s two-head average record in 2007. 

Tie-down roper Jeff Chapman set the Logandale record of 7.1 seconds in 1999. Blair Burk made the two-run average record of 15.8 seconds in 1998. Mike Johnson set the three-run average record of 25.7 seconds in 2005. Brazile set the four-run average record of 34.1 seconds in 2009.

Barrel racer Jackie Ganter set the Logandale record of 16.91 seconds in 2015. The three-run average record of 52.21 seconds was set by Brittany Pozzi in 2006.  

Bull rider Jason McClain set the Logandale record of 91 points in 2006. The two-head average record of 176 points was set by Garrett Smith in 2017.
