ProRodeoLive.com will broadcast the RAM Columbia Circuit Finals Rodeo Nov. 3-5 in Yakima, Wash., beginning at 7 p.m. (PT) on Nov. 3-4, and at 1 p.m. on Nov. 5 … The 138th Cache County Fair and Rodeo in Logan, Utah, is being billed as a success after an estimated 40,000 people attended the three-day event Aug. 10-12, generating more than $50,000 in revenue. Last week, during the Cache County Council meeting, Rodeo Chairman LaMont Poulsen reported to the council about the success of this year’s rodeo. “There aren’t any fairs with numbers like this around. All the individuals that I talk with are not in the black when they are all said and done,” Poulsen said in The Herald Journal in Logan, Utah. “This is not to pat me on the back, because it is all of us together.” … Pink filled the arena at the 2017 Greeley (Colo.) Stampede during the June 27 rodeo. To show support for breast cancer awareness and the Tough Enough to Wear Pink (TETWP) initiative, rodeo fans came out in their best pink attire and the Greeley Stampede donated $1 for each regularly-priced ticket sold that day. During the rodeo, the Greeley Stampede continued the popular pink Frisbee toss to raise additional money. The Stampede also partnered with Banner Health to sell official rodeo “I AM TETWP” T-shirts with a portion of each purchase going toward the cause. Since 2015, the Greeley Stampede has partnered with the Ranack Cares Foundation to raise additional money through their annual golf tournament. With a passion to raise money and awareness for breast cancer detection and treatment, the Ranack Cares Foundation provided on-site support during the TETWP rodeo. This year, the Greeley Stampede, in partnership with the Ranack Cares Foundation and North Colorado Medical Center, raised $16,000 through the TETWP initiative with the support of the community. The money will be donated to the NCMC Foundation Mammography Fund to help families in need battling breast cancer. To date, the Greeley Stampede has donated $61,000 to the fund … Baytown (Texas) Special Rodeo, the annual Western Day for special needs children, will be held at the Baytown Youth Fair Arena, 7900 N. Main in Baytown, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.(CT), on Nov. 11. Originally scheduled for Sept. 9, the traditional second Saturday in September, Special Rodeo was canceled due to Hurricane Harvey. This annual free event will again provide a day of activities including riding a horse, checking out numerous games and activities and riding the range in a barrel train. New registrations may be made online at www.specialrodeo.org through Nov. 1 to receive a Rodeo T-shirt, or families may register at the gate on event day.
