The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is always a great place to catch up with friends...The only problem is in Las Vegas time and money seem to be the two things that get lost at a high rate of speed. There''s just never enough time to get completely caught up.

Photo of Gray’s new Dodge inside: Since I last checked in there has been a lot going on. First off, soon after my last blog I got my brand new Dodge Truck thanks to my bareback riding win at the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo in April.

Well it has roughly been three weeks since my knee surgery and I am getting stronger and stronger each day.

What a week it has been after winning RodeoHouston. Words can’t really explain what it felt like except it was amazing.

For Christmas we decided to go on a vacation in Hawaii for seven days. None of us had ever been to Hawaii, so it was new and exciting for all of us.

Hello everyone! Good to be back on the radar. I’ve been laying low the past month or so and I have been enjoying it a lot. The majority of October has been consumed with hunting and remodeling our house.

As you all may have read I was 94 in Eagle, Colo., It’s pretty neat to be a part of that record and I feel honored to share that title with Wes Stevenson and Will Lowe.

Hello everyone, it is good to be back on the Web! Sorry it has been awhile since I posted a blog on ProRodeo.com. However, I know most of you have come to expect a bit of a delay from me. I always seem to be a little tardy when it comes to writing. But our new video blog on RodeoUp.com http://www.rodeoup.com/pride.html is doing a little of the work for me. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, click on RodeoUp.com and you will find a link to our travel group’s video page. There you will find lots of videos of us doing daily things on the road and doing our best to entertain you.

We recently purchased a new computer before the first of the year and I have been trying to figure it out. It’s not your typical computer. It is an iMAC.

The entire month of June, I was fighting bulls in the arena with my cell phone in my pocket because my wife, Nikki, was 8 months pregnant.

We are well into 2010, but I must go back and mention a few things about 2009 before we move ahead.

After the first of the year came and went, things have been very busy but, real good. I started the year off in Odessa, Texas at the SandHills Stock Show and Rodeo. It was the finals for the Professional Bull Fighters. I was teamed up with Joe Garretson, who is always a lot of fun to fight bulls with. I then went to San Angelo, Texas for the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo. This has become one of my favorite rodeos all year long. Mark Duncan and his awesome rodeo committee do a great job of putting on an awesome event.

My wife, Brook, and our son, Finn, and I spent the holiday break in Clarkston, Wash., with my family this year. We had a great time visiting for a week or so.

Greetings everyone, it seems like forever since I have had a blog up! I hope you all check out the new video blog on http://www.rodeoup.com/pride.html. The guys and I have been having a great time with it and there should be some really good episodes coming soon.

Since last fall we have been pretty busy with the new little man. He has been keeping us jumping but all in all he is a good baby, at least that''s what everyone tells us, but he’s our first so we don''t have anything to compare to.

Wow, the last time I wrote in we were celebrating my son, Cade’s two-year old birthday and now we are celebrating with our two-week-old son Jameson William.

I can’t believe that my little boy Cade is two years old today, June 7. The time sure has flown by and it has been so much fun watching him grow up.

The rodeo highlight of the month has been capturing the title at the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Pocatello, Idaho, for the second straight year.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and New Year. I had a very nice one and had fun watching my son Cade open his packages. He is starting to get the hang of it all.

I didn’t have the Fourth of July I was hoping for only winning about $4,000. It seemed like I couldn’t catch a break. I either broke a barrier or had trouble getting a time that would place in the money.

Can you believe it is already April? Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday we were getting home from the Finals and now we look at the rodeo season and realize we are already halfway through the 2009 season since the regular season ends in September. Sorry I have been so out of touch the last couple of months, but was hoping to tell you about a big win in Denver or San Antonio and unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

What a great Wrangler NFR it was this year. People have asked how this title compares to the others and I say they have all been different.

A congratulations, goes out to fellow bareback rider Clint Cannon, who recently broke my regular-season earnings record. He is having a great year.

Even though it’s the end of January already, I am still having a hard time writing 2009. I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. My family and I enjoyed a little rest and relaxation just outside of Wickenburg, Ariz., where we are spending the winter months. Our good friend Buster Bain has a place down here and we really enjoy coming down here during the winter months. It also gives me a chance to compete at the hundreds of team roping events in this area. In addition, (my wife) Kate and (our daughter) Laura also participate in the numerous barrel races in the area.
