She travels with her mother, Susan, quite often and she has one brother, Jordan…She bought her horse, Martha, in January of 2006 from Texas trainer Dena Kirkpatrick. She met Kirkpatrick when she was competing on a rodeo scholarship at Texas Tech…While growing up she competed at the provincial level in figure skating and swimming.
