• 2008: All-around World Champion for sixth time in seven years; set earnings record for two events at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo with $149,099 in team roping and tie-down roping.  2007: Became first Triple Crown winner in 24 years and just the eighth in history by winning the all-around, tie-down roping and steer roping gold buckles. Broke his own single-season record with earnings of $425,115 and moved from seventh to third on the career earnings list, trailing only Joe Beaver and Fred Whitfield. Won the all-around titles at Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Las Vegas; the Walker County Fair & Rodeo (Huntsville, Texas); the Grand National Rodeo (San Francisco); the Pioneer Days Rodeo (Clovis, N.M.); the West of the Pecos (Texas) Rodeo; the Snake River Stampede (Nampa, Idaho); the Deadwood (S.D.) Days of ’76 Rodeo; the Sonora (Texas) Outlaw Pro Rodeo; the New Mexico State Fair Rodeo (Albuquerque); the Amarillo (Texas) Tri-State Fair Rodeo and the Dodge Texas Circuit Finals Rodeo (Waco).  2006: Won the most money during the Fourth of July week for the 2006 season with $24,894 and became the youngest PRCA cowboy and the seventh overall to cross the $2 million mark in career earnings. Won all-around titles at the Lewiston (Idaho) Roundup; the Colorado State Fair & Rodeo (Pueblo); the Ellensburg (Wash.) Rodeo; the Lea County Fair & Rodeo (Lovington, N.M.); the Deadwood (S.D.) Finished the year ranked third in the all-around with $197,400, 11th in tie-down roping with $113,534, third in steer roping with $44,895 and 25th in team roping-header with $29,801

 2004: Won his third consecutive all-around title with $251,170 in earnings, becoming the first cowboy to do so since Ty Murray (1989-91). At the Wrangler NFR, he placed in the first three rounds of the tie-down roping (including first in the third round with a time of 7.7 seconds) and in the first round of the team roping to sew up the all-around title. Won all-around titles at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days Rodeo (Weatherford, Texas) and the Puyallup (Wash.) Rodeo; Finished ninth in the world in tie-down roping with $119,260. Won the Tour round at Rodeo Austin (Texas) in tie-down roping; the Tour Round and average title at the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo and the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo (Casper). Finished 14th in the world team roping standings with partner Wayne Folmer, with $65,989. Won the Beef Empire Days PRCA Rodeo (Garden City, Kan.) and the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.). World championship runner-up in steer roping with $67,921; won Beef Empire Days PRCA Rodeo (Garden City, Kan.) and the 67th Annual Coleman (Texas) PRCA Rodeo

 2003: First contestant to ever qualify for the Wrangler NFR in four events (tie-down roping, steer roping, team roping-header and team roping-heeler); won his second consecutive world all-around title, becoming the first back-to-back winner since Joe Beaver from 1995-96. Qualified in two events for Winter Tour Finale (Omaha, Neb.); was high-point winner in tie-down roping on the Summer Tour. Tie-down roping horse “Rock” and team roping horse “Buddy” finished second in AQHA Horse of the Year contest. Won all-around titles at the Walker County Fair Rodeo (Huntsville, Texas); the Junction (Texas) Twist Off Pro Rodeo; the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo; the Caldwell (Idaho) Night Rodeo; the Horse Heaven Roundup (Kennewick, Wash.) and the Ellensburg (Wash.) Rodeo. Won Round 4 of the Wrangler NFR with a time of 7.2 seconds in tie-down roping; co-champion in the tie-down roping at the SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo (Odessa, Texas); won tie-down roping titles at the Junction (Texas) Twist Off Pro Rodeo; the Horse Heaven Roundup (Kennewick, Wash.); the Lea County Fair & Rodeo (Lovington, N.M.) and the Caldwell (Idaho) Night Rodeo. Won team roping titles (with Wayne Folmer) at the Junction (Texas) Twist Off Pro Rodeo; the Dodge City (Kan.) Round-up; the Horse Heaven Roundup (Kennewick, Wash.) and tied for the win in Round 7 of the Wrangler NFR with a time of 4.1 seconds. Won steer roping titles at the SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo (Odessa, Texas), the Walker County Fair Rodeo (Huntsville, Texas) and the Junction (Texas) Twist Off Pro Rodeo. Finished the year first in the all-around with $294,839; fifth in tie-down roping with $138,895, second in steer roping with $64,321 and ninth in team roping (header) with $91,623

 2002: Won his first world all-around title, along with AA titles at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo (Denver); the Guymon (Okla.) Pioneer Days Rodeo; the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo and the Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days Rodeo. Won tie-down roping titles at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo (Denver); the Greeley (Colo.) Independence Stampede and the San Angelo (Texas) Rodeo. Won team roping title at Colorado State Fair (Pueblo) (with Allen Bach); won steer roping title at Guymon (Okla.) Pioneer Days Rodeo. Earned $79,157 and placed third in tie-down roping at the Wrangler NFR; earned $15,446 and placed fourth at the National Finals Steer Roping (Amarillo, Texas)

2001: Tie-down roping runner-up at the Copenhagen Cup Finale (Las Vegas); won tie-down roping titles at RodeoHouston and Puyallup (Wash.) Fair Rodeo; won all-around title at Guymon (Okla.) Pioneer Days Rodeo

Inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame on Jan. 10, 2008…Won the 2002 AQHA Tie-down Roping Horse of the Year honors for his horse (Tinys Clipso) Tweeter, and his horse Real Cool Dual (nickname Texaco) was voted PRCA/AQHA’s second-best tie-down roping Horse of the Year in 2004 and 2006, while his horse Die Hard Romance (nickname Roan Ranger) finished second in the steer roping horse of the year voting in 2006
