6-4, 230...Wife, Haley (daughter of PRCA stock contractor Bronc Rumford) is a rodeo secretary and timer; sons, Jaden, Jace and Jaret...Hobbies include riding and breaking colts and making homemade ice cream…Haley was the PRCA Secretary of the Year in 2007 and 2008…Both Jerome and Haley are frequent bloggers on the PRCA’s official Web site, prorodeo.com…Jerome nearly missed competing in the 2007 Wrangler NFR after falling from a ladder and suffering serious injuries Oct. 9 while working on a barn in Edmond, Okla. He fractured the fibula and severely dislocated the ankle on his right leg and also tore tendons and ligaments. Surgery was performed Oct. 10 in Wichita, Kan., to put screws and a plate in the leg
